An adults-only Valentine's Day party is happening at the Vancouver Aquarium
Love will be in the air at the Valentine’s Day edition of the Vancouver Aquarium After Hours event on Wednesday, February 14.
According to organizers of the event, the evening affair is adults-only, and will set the stage for “a provocative, sometimes racy, and oftentimes comical exploration of the sex lives of aquatic animals.”
Singles and couples alike are invited to spend Valentine’s Day with a drink in hand while they explore the galleries after dark.
Take in the Animal Sex Talk presented by the Aquarium’s head vet, Dr. Martin Haulena, and learn about coral sex, otter love and what positions a shark prefers.
There will also be a “naughty puppet show,” a chance to get close with the lovable birds known as penguins, and alcoholic beverages available for purchase throughout the aquarium.
Tickets are only available online and guests are encouraged to purchase tickets early as this event sells out.
The event is 19-plus only and photo ID is required for entry.
