T&T Supermarket closes decade-old Metro Vancouver location

T&T Supermarket has been making big expansion moves lately, with the opening of its first U.S. location just last year and its highly anticipated Gilmore Place location. However, in a surprising turn of events, the grocery chain has closed one of its Richmond locations after 11 years of operation.
While a formal announcement was not made online, T&T Supermarket informed shoppers of the closure of its Ora location (511 Hollybridge Wy. #135 in Richmond), which is just steps away from the Richmond Olympic Oval, with a sign on the store’s windows.
“We are sad to inform you that the T&T Ora store will be permanently closed effective Friday, Nov. 28, 2025. This decision came after a strategic review of how we can best serve our customers in the community,” said the posted sign.

While this store has officially closed, T&T urged customers to visit its locations in Lansdowne, Yaohan Centre, and on Marine and Cambie. It also added that its Lansdowne location is just 1.4 km away from its Ora store.
