Tsujiri has opened a new location in a Richmond car dealership

Move over, self-serve coffee. There’s a luxurious new place to get treats while car shopping: Tsujiri has opened a new location inside a Richmond car dealership.

Yep, no lie here guys. The famous Japanese matcha cafe has teamed up with OpenRoad Toyota in Richmond and it is now operating an outpost inside the 13100 Smallwood Place location, which is the auto group’s new flagship Toyota centre.

Known for using green tea leaves from Uji in Kyoto in all its signature treats, the new Richmond spot offers a menu of drinks made with its signature matcha.

Initial operating hours for the new location are Monday to Friday from 10:30 am to 3 pm during the soft launch.

It’s worth noting that Tsujiri has a 4777 Mcclelland Road #1535 location in Richmond as well, which might be more up your alley if you’re just looking to purchase a treat sans vehicle.
