It looks like British Columbia’s weather is so bad that even the Prime Minister has been affected.

The Office of the Premier announced on Monday morning that an in-person meeting between Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Premier John Horgan had been cancelled due to the inclement weather.

The two were scheduled to meet in Victoria for talks, as well as a photo-op and to meet the press.

But really, can you blame him?

Weather warnings are in effect across most of the province, including a snowfall warning in parts of Vancouver Island. Not to mention, the Vancouver International Airport issued a Snow Travel Advisory earlier this morning.

Trudeau still looks to have a busy schedule though, with private meetings held throughout the day.

The Prime Minister and Premier of BC will meet via video conference instead.
