With a dump of snow overnight and more expected to come, some schools around the region have declared a snow day.
Chilliwack, Mission, and West Vancouver public school districts have announced closures for Monday.

The remainder of Metro Vancouver schools (including Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Delta, Surrey, North Vancouver, Abbotsford, Langley, Maple Ridge, Coquitlam ) should note that all public schools are open for the day.

As for post-secondary institutions, the University of Fraser Valley has also declared that all campuses and centres are closed and all classes and activities are cancelled for today.
