The Quenchy Lemon: new food truck offering huge customizable sips
Heads up, Metro Vancouver: a new food truck specializing in huge cups of uniquely flavoured lemonade and limeade is coming to a farmers’ market near you.
The Quenchy Lemon is a new venture by husband and wife duo Angela and Christian Drost. Dished reached out to Angela for all the details on this new food truck.
“I’ve always had a dream of opening a food truck one day with my mom [and] Christian was down to help me make that happen,” said Angela. “I really enjoyed getting to express my creative side designing and developing the Quenchy Lemon, and Christian thrived doing a lot of the logistical work.”
From there, the Quenchy Lemon was born, and so was its mascot, Quentin.
“Quentin represents all of our favourite parts of summer,” said Angela. “For the past few summers, we’ve gone to Tofino with friends to surf, and it’s such a highlight every year. When we were brainstorming, we thought it made sense that Quentin would be a surfer dude.”
Angela added that they went through many other adjectives like the Big Lemon or the Happy Lemon before landing on “quenchy.”

You can expect a large variety of drinks on the menu to quench your thirst in whopping 32 oz cups. Customers can order either lemonade or limeade and have the option to customize it with a variety of different syrups.
You’ll find more unique syrups like kiwi, blackberry, and passionfruit on the menu, alongside classics like cherry, strawberry, peach and raspberry. The Quenchy Lemon also offers some set drinks for those overwhelmed with too many choices like its Kiwi Limeade and Passionfruit Lemonade.

The Quenchy Lemon will be making its farmers’ market debut at the Clayton Farmers’ Market on June 23 from 10 am to 3 pm. You’ll also be able to find it at Arts Nursery on June 29 and 30 from 11 am to 4 pm.
