West Vancouver's fresh waterfront restaurant opens today (PHOTOS)

We gave you your first look at the renderings of what West Vancouver’s The Beach House would look like after renovations, and now it’s time to check it out IRL.

The iconic restaurant has been closed for lengthy renovations for a while, but today, it officially reopens to the public.

The Earls-operated North Shore eatery is located in a building that is over 100 years old, but keeping its history has been a key part of upcoming renovations.

Patrons can now head to the Beach House’s lower dining area to offer booths with killer views.

As for the patio, it will be revamped with new furniture and a retractable awning perfect for rainy or super sunny days.

The newly renovated restaurant will have a “renewed focus on fresh seafood” with eats like Lobster Rolls and Shrimp-garnished Caesars.

The Beach House will offer a happy hour daily from 3 to 5 pm and 9 pm until close, as well as a brunch menu on weekends from 10 am to 2 pm.
