One of Vancouver's best French bistros is closing this weekend

One of Vancouver’s best French bistros just announced it will be closing its doors this weekend.

Bistro Wagon Rouge, the sister restaurant to popular all-day breakfast spot Red Wagon, will be offering its last ever service on Saturday, November 23.

Known for serving up classic French cuisine, this “blue-collar” bistro’s menu centred around fresh seasonal ingredients alongside staples like Cassoulet, Terrine, and Steak Frites.

The 1869 Powell Street eatery is located just steps away from other neighbourhood joints like Trans Am, Aleph, and The Pie Shoppe.

Bistro Wagon Rouge’s team thanked Vancouver for all the good times, saying serving patrons here has “been a dream.”
