First look inside West Vancouver's The Beach House restaurant (RENDERINGS)
Iconic West Vancouver restaurant, The Beach House, has closed for lengthy renovations.
The Earls-operated North Shore eatery is located in a building that is over 100 years old, but keeping its history has been a key part of upcoming renovations.

While the team aims to preserve the eatery’s “heritage building designation” the new Beach House will feature an updated private event space on the upper level of the building, which can seat around 92 people.
The Beach House team tells Daily Hive that the renovated eatery will have an interior complete with custom-made furniture and local antiques along with vintage decorative lighting accents.
The back bar of the former restaurant is being removed, which means an island bar with seating will be built in its place.
Patrons can expect the Beach House’s lower dining area to offer booths with killer views.
As for the patio, it will be revamped with new furniture and a retractable awning perfect for rainy or super sunny days.
The Beach House team tells Daily Hive that renovations are slated to wrap up later this year, with a tentative opening time of late Summer 2019.
