Two '80s rock legends join forces for huge Vancouver concert this fall
Another big Vancouver concert has been announced, and music fans can get ready to party with ’80s rock icons The B-52s and DEVO.
The beloved hitmakers are teaming up for the Cosmic De-Evolution co-headlining tour, transforming Rogers Arena into a giant love shack on Sunday, Sept. 27.
Vancouver is the only Canadian concert stop on the eight-city tour celebrating the groups’ extensive catalogue of hits. Tickets go on sale on Friday, June 26, at 10 a.m.

“With generations of fans united by their timeless hits, boundary-pushing creativity and a shared spirit of joyful rebellion, these legendary bands will deliver a one-of-a-kind live experience unlike anything else on the road this year,” said Live Nation in a release.
The B-52s are three-time Grammy nominees behind timeless songs like “Love Shack,” “Roam,” and “Rock Lobster.” The group has had residencies at The Venetian Las Vegas and performed on SNL. They also have had a professional hockey team named after one of their biggest hits.

DEVO may be best known for their 1980 hit, “Whip It,” but their unique music and visual style continue to win them fans across generations. A documentary about the new-wave pioneers premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2024, and the group also appeared on SNL50: The Homecoming Concert special.
The rock stars are the latest music acts to announce a Vancouver concert this year.
They join huge acts like aespa and The Smashing Pumpkins, who recently announced concerts at Rogers Arena.
Summer is also filled with music fests, including the Vancouver International Jazz Festival, Khatsahlano Street Party, and Pleasant Day Festival.
