Police arrest 2 for theft after breaking and entering at an Abbotsford High School

Two men have been arrested and placed into custody after an attempted robbery at a local high school.

The incident took place on Monday, July 2, when two burglars broke into W.J. Mouat Secondary School, a high school located on 32555 Mouat Drive in Abbotsford.

According to police, two males gained entry into the school by breaking through the windows and were attempting to steal the school’s computers.

Patrol officers noticed the break-in and requested additional police presence in order to catch the perpetrators.

A 32-year-old and a 42-year-old, both unidentified, were arrested on scene and have been placed in custody.

Both men face charges of breaking and entering and will have their court case later this afternoon.
