Takenaka food truck set to launch in Vancouver July 29

Takenaka Vancouver’s highly anticipated food truck officially launched Wednesday, July 29.
Up until now, this purveyor has been operating as a delivery and pickup concept. Takenaka works out of the Coho Collective’s new state-of-the-art commissary at 1370 East Georgia Street, just off McLean Drive.

Chef-owner Shogo Takenaka (previously Kingyo Izakaya, Raisu) and Sous Chef Daiki Ishikawa have been dishing up Japanese bentos, rice bowls, and appetizers made with fresh and interesting ingredients since first launching earlier this year.
