Global tea shop famous for mango drinks opens second North American location in Metro Vancouver
Metro Vancouver is no stranger to the drink craze of mango beverages, and there’s now another addition to the growing mango drink scene, with global tea drink brand Sweet7 opening its second North American location right here in Richmond.
Sweet7 first debuted in China back in 2006 and has since expanded across the globe. In 2024, the tea chain opened its first North American location in Vancouver at 1696 Robson St.
For those unfamiliar, Sweet7 is best known for its signature beverages like Mango Pomelo Sago, which is made from diced mango, mango purée, coconut milk, sago (mini tapioca balls), and pomelo. This location will also feature other signature mango drinks, milk tea, fruit tea, and multiple slush flavours.

“We’ve been so fortunate and grateful to see long-time and new fans of Sweet7 alike show up and support our first location in Vancouver and can’t wait to open the doors on our Richmond store,” said Max Wang, who is a co-owner of the Richmond Sweet7 location alongside Kevin Lee. “We look forward to continue showcasing the full range of flavours that have made Sweet7 such a favourite around the world.”
As part of the soft opening of this new Richmond location, the first 100 guests each day from March 6 through 12 will receive a fridge magnet.
Then, for its grand opening on March 13, guests will be able to get a buy-one-get-one-free offer for either Sweet7’s Signature Mango Pomelo Sago, Coconut Mango Pomelo Sago, Cheesy Mango Pomelo Sago, or its new Mango Pomelo Sago with Jasmine Jelly.
