12 best places to watch the Super Bowl in Vancouver

It’s that time of year again!

The Christmas day of football games, the Super Bowl, is fast approaching, and do you know where you’ll be watching?

Tons of Vancouver bars and restaurants will be showing the game, and many of them are offering food and drink specials so epic, you’ll feel like you scored the winning touchdown after devouring them.

Here are the 12 best places to watch the Super Bowl in Vancouver on Sunday, February 2, 2020.

While these are definitely some top spots to celebrate in style this year, we do recommend checking out our list of the best sports bars in Vancouver, because many of these venues will surely be hosting epic parties too.

One of our favourite spots in town is throwing a Super Bowl bash that’s not to be missed. On February 2 The American will be welcoming ticketholders from 12:30 pm to 11:30 pm. The shindig offers beer and grub from Downlow Burgers and Big Day BBQ. There are a few different packages available, so check them out and reserve your spot.

Bells & Whistles

This Fraser Street spot has a lot in store for football fans on February 2. Bells & Whistles will have tons of food and beverage specials, including select draught beer for $5.50 and $5 classic hot dogs, along with halftime festivities. Reservations are recommended for this and can be made by calling or emailing the restaurant.

On February 2 The Sportsbar is hosting a Super Bowl bash from 1 to 9 pm. The bar will be showing the game on its 102 high definition TVs, and it will be offering drinks specials like $5 Bud and Bud Light. There will also be appearances from Captain Morgan and the Vancouver Warriors Dance Team. Tickets for this event can be purchased online.

The Juke Fried Chicken team is inviting you to celebrate them whether you’re at home or in the Chinatown eatery. On February 2, Juke will be welcoming folks to watch the big game on its four TV screens starting at 11 am (aka brunch time). There will be drink specials and $15 buckets of four cans of Bridge Brewing’s PrimeTime beer. Reservation are recommended and can be made by emailing the restaurant.

If you’re kicking it at home, Juke is offering a Pick-Six Package, which is available for pickup or delivery via DoorDash on February 1 and 2. For $95 the packages include the following:

  • 10 pieces of Juke’s classic, gluten-free Fried Chicken
  • Six Jalapeño Cheddar Waffles (can be substituted for gluten-free waffles)
  • 10 Hot Wings
  • One Large Fries
  • Two orders of East Asian Peanut Slaw
  • One Large Gravy

This package serves six and can be pre-ordered starting January 28.

It’s no secret that the Donnelly Group loves any reason to throw parties at its many pubs and restaurants around Vancouver, so of course, Super Bowl Sunday is the perfect event to celebrate with them. This year the group is hosting parties for every kind of sports fan.

Local legend Remy Letendre will be hosting a party at Yaletown’s New Oxford and TavernThe Railway will have a happy hour during the game (3 to 7 pm), and Ballyhoo Public House is going to be offering beer features and an all-you-can-eat taco station.

Lamplighter will have a Flight Centre gift card raffle, Cinema will be giving one fan Parallel 49, and Sing Sing will have beer specials too. As with any big event, reservations are recommended and can be made by emailing the restaurants.
