Asian grocery stores have been taking Metro Vancouver by storm, and another one is expected to open at the start of next year.

Sungiven Foods shared with Dished that it plans to open a 10,439 sq. ft. location in Richmond’s One Park early next year.

“As Sungiven Foods Canada has been proudly serving Vancouver since 2019, the new One Park location represents the next step in our local growth,” said Alex Wang, head of operations at Sungiven Foods Canada.

For those who have never been, Sungiven specializes in high-quality, health-conscious, all-natural products, brands, and practices, such as only selling free-run eggs and AAA-grade Canadian meats.

Wang shared that at this new location, customers can expect a refreshed store layout and product mix, featuring more ready-to-eat and grab-and-go selections, while also offering its core fresh produce and other exclusive Sungiven private brand products.

As for why One Park, Wang said that the neighbourhood embodies the spirit of the communities it serves: vibrant, diverse, and family-oriented.

“This neighbourhood values quality and authenticity, which aligns perfectly with Sungiven’s brand values. We hope the new store will become not just a grocery store, but a cornerstone of the neighbourhood where good food connects people,” he said.

This new location is expected to open sometime in January 2026. Be sure to stay tuned.
