New trailer for Vancouver reality series 'Sponsored Divas' released (VIDEO)

Earlier this month we revealed the first trailer for Vancouver’s newest reality series Sponsored Divas – or $pon$ored Divas.

The footage sparked controversy from around the city as people shared their opinions of the show’s subjects.

Now a second trailer has been released, giving us a closer look into the lives of these Vancouver women.

For those unfamiliar with the concept, a sponsored woman, or sugar baby, is someone who wants the best things in life – red bottoms, designer purses or clothes, trips abroad – and it’s all paid for by the sponsor.

A sponsor, or sugar daddy, is usually a wealthy man who finances a woman’s daily allowances, and they’re looking for some form of companionship in exchange.

There is currently no firm release date for the first episode, Sponsored Divas.
