Snackshot is an eatery on Granville Street that serves up authentic Hong Kong-style desserts and treats in the heart of Vancouver’s Marpole neighbourhood.

This spot specializes in dishes like a large Tofu Pudding for two (complete with an adorable bear design on the top), Maltose Crackers (sweet maltose between salty soda crackers), and a dessert platter with nine different varieties of tong sui (dessert) including Cashew Paste, Sesame Paste, Almond Paste, Red Date and Longan Soup, Tofu Pudding, Red Bean Soup, Black Glutinous Dessert, Green Bean Soup, and Walnut Paste.
This sweet soup tasting platter is $22.95, and it’s definitely one of the biggest sellers at this new neighbourhood eatery.
For drinks, trade in your margaritas and Coronas for bulldogs of a different sort. Enjoy Vitasoy milk and red bean bulldogs that are perfect for that food Insta.
Patrons can enjoy these treats in a bright and vibrant space with a mural of Hong Kong plastered across the walls.
It’s only been open since June 3, but if Instagram is any indication, Snackshot is already becoming a fan fave for its treats and colourful atmosphere.
If you do go don’t be surprised to find a line of people waiting to try the specialty eats and drinks, they’re clearly in demand!
