Big Star Sandwich Co is known for making big hearty dishes, and now, they’re making big moves too.

The sandwich shop (which you may remember from the “Liam Neeson eats for free” incident) started with a store in New West in 2013, and after expanding to Burnaby, they’ve recently opened up a brand new location in Surrey on 104 Avenue.

The 800 square foot spot seats 20 patrons at a time, and whether you’re dining in or out, you can enjoy the slow roasted beef, hand-pulled turkey, and house-brined corned beef south of the Fraser.

The menu here is packed with deli cuts, authentically prepared meats, soups, and stews, including a now-infamous feature titled ‘The Neeson’ – a combo of beef, bacon, hickory sticks, and spice.

Next up for this sandwich purveyor? Maple Ridge, 103-11959 203rd Street to be exact, this spot should be opening within the next few months. Big Star told Daily Hive the next spots for expansion they’ll be considering are South Surrey and Langley.
