UPDATED: Severe SkyTrain disruptions this evening due to police incident

UPDATE: Regular train service has resumed.

ORIGINAL STORY:

SkyTrain’s Expo Line is experiencing significant service disruptions this evening between Nanaimo Station and Commercial-Broadway Station due to a police incident.

TransLink says trains are turning around at Joyce-Collingwood Station and Main Street-Science World Station; as trains are not running between Joyce-Collingwood and Main Street-Science World stations, passengers must board a bus bridge shuttle service.

Extra security personnel and police have been deployed to ensure passenger safety and crowd control.

The disruptions began shortly after 9 pm.

The Millennium Line and Canada Line are unaffected and operating normally.
