The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has announced 33-year-old Justin Haevischer was the victim of the brazen shooting at a Langley McDonald’s on Tuesday evening.
According to IHIT, on September 10, 2019, shortly after 8 pm, Haevischer was shot to death outside the McDonald’s restaurant at 264 Street and 56 Avenue in Langley, BC.
According to a previous release, IHIT said Haevischer known to police and had alleged gang ties.
Investigators are releasing Haevischer’s name in an effort to determine his activities and who he may have been in contact with prior to the shooting.
“Our investigators continue to push ahead on this investigation and urge any witnesses who have yet to come forward to call IHIT immediately,” says Sergeant Frank Jang of IHIT.
