There’s no need for helmets or pads for the latest concert announcement, because Simple Plan is coming to Vancouver on their latest tour and bringing some fellow rock stars along for the ride.
The Bigger Than You Think! Tour will take over Rogers Arena on Wednesday, Jan. 27, just one day after the multi-platinum rockers play Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre in Victoria.
Tickets for Simple Plan’s first Canadian headlining tour in over a decade go on sale Friday, Oct. 9 at 10 a.m.
Joining the band for both shows in B.C. are fan-favourites Marianas Trench and Bowling For Soup.

“We are so excited to bring our Bigger Than You Think! Headline Tour back home to Canada,” said Simple Plan in a release. “It’s been more than 10 years since the last time we did a proper cross-Canadian tour in our home and native land, and we absolutely cannot wait for these shows.
“The fact that we have the privilege to play all the biggest arenas across the country more than 25 years into our career is something we’ll never take for granted. We’re incredibly grateful to all our amazing Canadian fans for their love and support over all these years. We can’t wait to finally play for all of you again and put on the best and biggest show we’ve ever done here at home! It’s gonna be a blast.”
Simple Plan, a Canadian pop-punk quartet from Montreal, rose to prominence in the early 2000s and is beloved by fans for huge hits like “I’m Just A Kid,” “Welcome to My Life,” and “Summer Paradise.” They’ve also won two Juno Awards and six MuchMusic Video Awards.
Marianas Trench is a Juno Award-winning band from Vancouver with multiple hits like “Stutter” and “Fallout.” The platinum-selling group have garnered fans from around the world for their thrilling live shows.
Bowling For Soup have 30 years of anthems under their belts, including “Girl All The Bad Guys Want,” “1985,” and the theme songs for Jimmy Neutron and Phineas and Ferb. The group is also treating fans with a new live acoustic album, a pop-punk covers record, and more music to come.

The news of Simple Plan’s huge show comes just a day after Rogers Arena cryptically posted a poster with a maple leaf and the word “tomorrow” on it.
There was also a frowny-faced blue hockey puck with the year 2027 emblazoned on it.
One major hint was the fact that the frowny-face logo in the social media tease is one associated with the award-winning group from Quebec.
Simple Plan used a similar logo on their Bigger Than You Think Europe/U.K. 2026 tour poster.
It has been a busy time for Vancouver concert announcements, with Carly Rae Jepsen, as well as Metallica and Limp Bizkit, also revealing plans for huge shows in 2027.
