Shoppers Drug Mart employees test positive for coronavirus around Vancouver

Loblaw Companies International has confirmed that three employees working at two different Shoppers Drug Mart locations in Vancouver and Metro Vancouver have tested positive for a presumptive case of COVID-19.

On October 21, the company reported that an employee working at the Shoppers Drug Mart at 370 East Broadway in Vancouver tested positive on a presumptive test. The affected individual last worked on October 8.

Another two employees working at the Shoppers Drug Mart at 12830 96th Avenue in Surrey also tested positive on a presumptive tests. The staff members last worked on October 9 and October 14.

BC health officials said on Tuesday that 167 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the province.
