Why Seth Rogen wants you to name this Vancouver Aquarium octopus after him
Fresh off a three-month stint as the voice of courtesy on Metro Vancouver’s SkyTrain and bus systems, Vancouver native Seth Rogen has a new pitch for residents of the city: Name an octopus living at the Vancouver Aquarium after him.
Recently, the Aquarium announced that it was putting out a public call to help name the facility’s newest cephalopod-in-residence.
Hey #Vancouver, it’s (maybe) Ceph here. We need your help naming the newest cephalopod-in-residence! We’ll be running a bracket battle to see which name comes out on top. Hurry, head over to our Facebook page to cast your vote this round: https://t.co/u4dcMVApYX @Sethrogen pic.twitter.com/JWvVeaaP7s

Ever the helpful type, Rogen chimed in with a suggestion, via Twitter.
Ceph Rogen.

Now, the Aquarium is holding a public vote to see if this name sticks, and voting is open on its Facebook page.
And it’s no surprise what Rogen thinks of the name.
Please vote for me to have an octopus named after me at the aquarium I grew up going to. https://t.co/3axHKAryjo

So, what will happen? Could Ceph Rogen be the newest local at the Vancouver Aqaurium?
Only time (and votes) will tell.
