Seattle to Vancouver flight identified for coronavirus exposure

The Canadian federal government has added a recent flight from Seattle to Vancouver to its list of routes with potential coronavirus exposure.

Delta’s flight  DL3702 on September 20 had someone who was contagious sitting somewhere between row 1 and row 7.

Authorities advise anyone else who was on board, especially those nearby, to monitor for symptoms for at least 14 days after the flight and to seek testing if any develop.

Because the flight was an international arrival, most passengers should already be quarantining for 14 days as per Canadian federal law.

The Government of Canada updates its list of flights that carried coronavirus-positive passengers once a day, and local health authorities no longer reach out to travellers directly.
