The Vancouver corporate presence of Salesforce is now located in an expanded and highly centralized location in downtown Vancouver.
The San Francisco-based tech giant opened a new office at Grant Thornton Place office tower at 333 Seymour Street, located just across from Waterfront Station, this past summer.

The new office allowed Salesforce to amalgamate two separate offices in the city under one roof, while also expanding its presence in the city. Currently at the new location, Salesforce has a workforce of over 175 employees.
There is an open office layout that allows natural light to pour in, views of the North Shore mountains, and ample staff amenity spaces, such as social lounges for brainstorming and planning community outreach, and “mindfulness rooms” for meditation and napping.
“Vancouver has always been an important market for Salesforce,” said Margaret Stuart, country manager of Salesforce Canada, in a statement.
“With this new location, we’re now able to offer an environment that will facilitate the kind of collaboration and innovative thinking that has defined Salesforce from the very beginning.”
Salesforce is known for its cloud-based software solutions, and it has local clients that include Indochino, Sierra Wireless, Saje Natural Wellness, Mindfield, and Release The Hounds.
Soon after acquiring Vancouver-based cloud-based website platform Sitemasher, the company opened its first presence in the city in 2012 within Gastown.
PCI Developments is currently undergoing a significant retrofit of the 1985-built, 16-storey office tower, including a 13,000 sq. ft. of floor area expansion at the base of the building to provide new retail, a 4,200-sq-ft fitness gym, and public realm improvements.
The tower also houses a significant WeWork co-working office location.
