Food truck known for drool-worthy fish and chips to open Vancouver restaurant

With warmer weather just over the horizon, seafood lovers in and around Vancouver come out to eat. Lucky for them, a new seafood restaurant called Rumble Fish is gearing up to open in the city.
Located at 2296 E Hastings St., Rumble Fish is moving into the space formerly occupied by The Red Wagon (before it moved to its current spot at 2128 E Hastings St.).

On its website, Rumble Fish boasts the use of fresh seafood and has some classic fried fish options on its menu. Think fish and chips alongside fish tacos (fried cod on a flour tortilla with shredded cabbage, pickled onions, pico de gallo and crema fresca) and fish sandwiches (crispy fried cod on a fresh roll with house-made tartar, shredded lettuce and pickles).

The concept originally started in Squamish as a food truck before making its way to Vancouver. The food truck also offered other seafood-based options like prawn rolls and clam chowder in a bread bowl, which we hope will also be found at this new spot.
An exact opening date for Rumble Fish has yet to be announced, but the restaurant teases that customers can expect to enjoy some of its tasty seafood soon.
