There’s a FREE NYC-inspired bodega experience in Vancouver this weekend

There’s something effortlessly cool about New York’s corner stores.

Whether you’ve experienced them first-hand, through a TV show, you know that bodegas are where you can embrace the tradition of grabbing late-night snacks.

On Saturday, April 27 you can experience an immersive NYC-inspired bodega experience right here in Vancouver at R’s Corner Store. Taking place at Zero Creative Studio on Frances Street, the space will pay homage to the design and character of these beloved corner stores.

To bring R’s Corner Store to life, the CO.LAB, a collective of creators and artists across Canada, teamed up with Vancouver-based Brandon Gill and Natasha Dion of Zero Creative Studio.

Embrace a sense of bodega flair at the free event with a CCTV selfie cam, live art installations, classic snacks, goods, and merchandise, on offer. You’ll get an exclusive first look and have the chance to shop the CO.LAB’s capsule collaboration with Swim Club. Expect fanny packs, sweaters, tees, and accessories.
