Her TV role is Betty Cooper on the hit show Riverdale, but now Lili Reinhart has a new, real-life role as a proud puppy parent, courtesy of a local shelter.

On Instagram, Reinhart recently announced that she has adopted a puppy from Langley-based Furever Freed Dog Rescue Society.

“This is my new baby,” she wrote in one post. “He has quickly become a great love of mine. Meet Milo, my rescue sweetheart.”

In another post, she called her new canine companion her “real life very own tiny son.”

According to its website, Furever Freed Dog Rescue is a non-profit rescue group of volunteers located in Langley.

Formed in 2013 by Lisa Gaye, the organization states that it has saved the lives of over 3,500 dogs, “thanks to the effort and work of our dedicated volunteers, our amazing rescue partners in Mexico, Korea, and the US, and the escorts that assist in transporting the dogs.”
