New Rick and Morty teaser features Vancouver landmarks (VIDEO)

While it’s still unknown at this point when the fourth season of Rick and Morty will officially premiere, fans of the animated series can at least take comfort in the fact that those behind the show have been kind enough to release some new material in the form of a short teaser.

And for fans here in Vancouver, the new 15-second clip is made more enjoyable by the fact that it features a quick shot of our fair city – Science World and False Creek to be specific.

The local touch – which appears around the eight-second mark of the video – should come as no surprise though, considering the clip was created by Vancouver-based storyboard artist and filmmaker, Gary Ye.

The new video depicts the pair in a variety of predator vs. prey-type scenarios, and while it’s anyone’s guess as to when new full-length episodes will finally be released, this clip should, for now at least, fill the black hole-sized void in our hearts.
