There was no winning ticket for Friday night’s Lotto Max draw for a historic $70 million prize, meaning the record-setting purse can still be won in Tuesday’s draw.

In addition to the main prize, there will be 25 MAXMILLIONS prizes.

Lotto Max is a nationwide lottery game with winners drawn on Tuesdays and Fridays.

According to the British Columbia Lottery Corporation, the Lotto Max prize rose to $70 million for the first time since enhancements to the game were introduced in May 2019.

The previous record for the largest lottery jackpot in Canadian history was a $64 million prize in Lotto 6/49 in 2015.
