Raptors game in Vancouver virtually sold out and resale ticket prices are soaring
Vancouver’s thirst for NBA basketball is still very much alive.
That much has been evident nearly every time the Toronto Raptors have played a preseason game in the city, and it’s no different this time around.
The Raptors will face the Denver Nuggets in their first preseason game of the year at Rogers Arena on Monday, Oct. 6. Rogers Arena is virtually sold out for the match, with only a handful of unsold tickets remaining.
Without going to the resale market, the cheapest remaining tickets we saw on Ticketmaster are $382.10.
Those seats are located at the west end of the lower bowl.

For fans who want to sit on the floor, there are tickets remaining there, but the cheapest one is $632. Most tickets available on the floor cost over $1,000.
On the resale market, the cheapest ticket available on Ticketmaster was $119.30. However, those seats are located behind the last row of the 300-level, at the far corner of Rogers Arena.

This is the seventh time that the Raptors will play a preseason game in Vancouver. So far, they’re unbeaten when they host an opponent at Rogers Arena.
Toronto beat Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns back in 2010. They defeated the Golden State Warriors in 2016 after the California-based squad went 73-9 the season prior. The Raptors have also beaten the Sacramento Kings (2014, 2024), Los Angeles Clippers (2015) and Portland Trailblazers (2018).
Although the Raptors have lost the entirety of their 2019 championship-winning squad, they did have an improved season last year, going from 25 wins in 2023-24 to 33 wins in 2024-25. They’re led by the talented Scottie Barnes and have recent high draft picks such as Gradey Dick and Colin Murray-Boyles on the roster.
Brandon Ingram could suit up for his first game in a Raptors uniform on Monday, after six years with the New Orleans Pelicans. He was traded to the Raptors from the New Orleans Pelicans last season, but didn’t suit up for Toronto due to a high ankle sprain.
Both Ingram and Barnes are the Raptors’ highest-paid players, with each set to earn a shade over US$38 million this season.
There is some serious star power on the Nuggets roster, led by Nikola JokiÄ and Canadian Jamal Murray. Denver is just two years removed from winning an NBA championship in 2023.
