Mixed bag of rain and sun forecasted for Vancouver this weekend

The halfway point of July is drawing near, and Vancouver has yet to see an extended stretch of summer weather.

This weekend will be no different, with Environment Canada calling for a mixed bag of conditions across the city.

Mainly sunny skies are expected throughout Friday, with clouds clearing through the afternoon.

Saturday will take a step backwards with mainly cloudy skies and showers beginning around noon. The precipitation is expected to carry out overnight.

Fortunately, conditions are likely to clear up on Sunday with sunny skies throughout the day.

Temperatures will dwell between the high teens and low twenties, with a daytime low of 19°C and a high of 22°C expected between Friday and Sunday. Overnight temperatures will sit in the low teens, between 12°C and 14°C. 

Sunday is also expected to be the first of many sunny days over next week, but knowing Vancouver’s luck, that’s likely to change all too soon.
