20-year-old local cafe to expand with new Metro Vancouver location opening this fall

Local cafe chain Prado Coffee has recently shared that it will be expanding, with yet another location opening in Metro Vancouver. This time, its latest outpost will be coming to Burquitlam.
“Located in Burquitlam, this cafe brings exceptional coffee and warm service to one of Coquitlam’s fastest-growing communities. It’s an inviting neighbourhood stop for great espresso, freshly baked treats and everyday coffee runs,” wrote the cafe on its website.
An exact opening date for the new location has yet to be announced, but folks should expect to visit sometime this November.

For those unfamiliar, Prado Coffee is a Vancouver-born cafe chain that started with a single shop on Commercial Drive back in 2006. Since then, the team has expanded to operate eight locations throughout Metro Vancouver, and recently opened the doors to its first outpost in Calgary.
On the menu, you can find your classic coffee offerings from Americanos to flat whites, in addition to baked goods and pastries like scones, croissants, cookies, and more. Plus, it serves a variety of wraps and sandwiches.
