Vancouver-born coffee shop opens its first Calgary location

After opening several successful outposts all over Metro Vancouver, a popular coffee shop has taken the leap over to Alberta with its very first location in the province.
Prado Coffee, a well-known Vancouver cafe, has just opened a brand-new location in Calgary’s Britannia Plaza, taking over the old Starbucks space.
With a focus on high-quality, specialty coffee, and delicious pastries, Prado Coffee has built up quite the reputation over the years, becoming a firm favourite for many in Vancouver.

The cafe has come a long way since opening its first location over two decades ago on Vancouver’s Commercial Drive. Since then, the family-owned business has expanded to eight spots across Metro Vancouver.
While Calgary’s coffee scene is booming, it’s exciting to have a brand-new spot for catching up over a brew, work, or study in the city.
