Update: Pokemon Go is now working!
Holy sh*t it’s finally here!
Pokemon Go has officially launched in Canada.
After what seems like years (it’s been 11 days since the US release), you can now go to the App Store in Canada and find the Pokemon Go icon staring up at you.

Of course, that doesn’t mean you’ll be able to play it yet. It seems Canada’s enthusiasm to get our hands on the world famous app has caused its servers to crash:

So while you can go to the app store and install it on your phone and agree to let Google know everything in the world about you, you can’t actually play it yet.
Basically, we’re right back where we started. But hey, seeing that little logo on your phone is something, right? We’ll let you know when the game is finally up and running for us. Here’s to bumping into each other (and everyone else) sometime soon!
