The Vancouver Canucks will be debuting a new alternate uniform next season.
“Hometown Remix” jerseys are expected to be revealed for all 32 NHL teams beginning in September, as confirmed over the weekend by Chris Smith of Icethetics, a reliable go-to source for NHL jersey news.
The jersey concept is expected to be similar to Nike’s City Edition jerseys in the NBA and City Connect in MLB.
Jerseys for two teams have already leaked, and they’re ones that fans are sure to be excited about.
The Florida Panthers are expected to debut the NHL’s first-ever pink uniform, shown below.

The New York Islanders, meanwhile, appear to be offering a fresh take on their 1990s Fisherman logo.

What do the Canucks have planned?
While their new alternate jersey hasn’t leaked yet, the base colour the Canucks have reportedly chosen is navy blue.
That doesn’t give us an immediate clue, given how many different directions the Canucks could go in.
Will they opt for a colour swap of one of their past jerseys, as they did for their reverse retro uniforms unveiled in 2020 and 2022?

How about bringing back the Flying V or Vancouver Millionaires uniforms with blue and green colours?Ā Those are ideas that have been floated by fans before.
They wouldn’t mess with the Flying Skate colours, would they?
