Late-night sweet shop with make-your-own-dessert station to open in Metro Vancouver

We’ve got some pretty sweet news for you (pun intended). The local restaurant group behind Myth Szechuan Cuisine and Myth Grill and Yakitori Bistro is gearing up to open a new late-night dessert concept, and it’s going to include a make-your-own-dessert station.
Myth Dessert and Patisserie is a cozy dessert shop open daily from 2:30 p.m. to midnight. It will offer a wide selection of sweet treats, including house-made pastries, classic items such as red bean paste with mochi and steamed milk egg pudding, and drinks like Thai tea, matcha, and hojicha. Plus, as previously mentioned, it will include a make-your-own dessert station.

You’ll also find specialty curated “grand slam” features meant to showcase an assortment of dessert options, like the Classic Grand Slam (red bean, taro ball, peach gum, lotus seeds, and grass jelly) or the Cassava Grand Slam (cassava, peach gum, taro ball, lotus seeds, and red beans).
âWeâre incredibly excited to write this new chapter for our family and look forward to introducing friends, family and new visitors to moments of sweetness and warmth,â said owner Joe Wang. âAt Myth Dessert and Patisserie, we pride ourselves on offering more than just desserts. We aim to provide a sanctuary for your tastebuds and soul and allow each dessert to sweeten your day and soothe your heart.â
