Metro Vancouver is no stranger to giant Taiwanese fried chicken.

The area already has several spots to get this marinated, crispy delicacy – which comes in a big portion (one order is typically the size of your face).

Chicken joints like Big G now have a Richmond and downtown Vancouver spot, and more recently Hot Star opened its first BC outpost in Richmond with a Vancouver one on the way.

But, there’s a new destination for this popular traditional street snack that just opened in Richmond, which means there’s another place to get your giant chicken fix.

Monga Fried Chicken has opened in the Aberdeen Square Food Court. The brand has outposts all over the world, including one in Toronto.

Monga Richmond offers four varieties of the giant fried chicken fillets that are “as thick as a coin.”

This offering is marinated with honey, dipped in batter, fried, and then topped with Monga’s signature toppings, like the Chee-Z variety.
