Giant Taiwanese chicken joint 'Big G' has opened in downtown Vancouver

Metro Vancouver is no stranger to Big G Large Fried Chicken, the giant Taiwanese chicken steak spot in Richmond, and now the purveyor of huge face-sized dishes has opened a new location in downtown Vancouver.

Known for its giant, epic chicken (sometimes stuffed with gooey cheese), the eatery also offers additional powders that can be added to the meat (Cajun, seaweed, and ketchup, etc) along with sides like fries and milk teas.

Big G, who also runs a stall at the Richmond Night Market when it’s operating, has set up shop at 382 Robson Street, the former location of Coco Noodle Express.

Staff at Big G Vancouver tell Daily Hive the spot quietly opened recently and is operating under soft opening hours for the time being (11 am to 10:30 pm daily).
