Vancouver's brand-new pastry shop is a slice of Paris, complete with baguette sandwiches

Pastry lovers in and around Burnaby are definitely familiar with Elena Krasnova, owner and chef at Mon Paris Pâtisserie. Well, at least we are.
Earlier this year, Dished reported that Krasnova would be bringing her much-loved pastry shop to Vancouver (alongside some exclusive bites only available at this new location). Now, we have more details about the highly anticipated opening.
The new location at Olympic Village is a total of 1,150 sq. ft. and offers seating for 20 in a cozy and bright space that is inspired by the many cafés of Paris that Krasnova fell in love with while learning the art of pastry at the prestigious Ferrandi Ecole de Gastronomie.

On the menu you’ll find all the same delectable pastries that have made Mon Paris a must visit, including croissants (varieties including butter, chocolate, ham and cheese, pistachio and double baked almond and chocolate), canales, turnovers, palmiers, and galettes, as well as macarons, chocolates, individual desserts, and custom cakes that can serve between six and 20 people.
However, as we mentioned before, there will be some new exclusive offerings at this location as well. Namely, sandwiches.
