7 straight days of sunny weather are in Vancouver's forecast

Oct 26 2017, 11:18 pm

In a season typically known for darker days and rainier skies, it seems Vancouver is getting a nice little bonus from Mother Nature: seven straight days of sunny weather are in store for the region, starting today.

Yes, according to Environment Canada, the sun that came out Thursday morning is set to stick around for the rest of this week, into the weekend, and well into next week as well. A strong high pressure system is responsible for the coming conditions.

Temperatures throughout the week will be seasonally sweet as well.

Daytime highs will hover around the mid-teens and night-time temperatures will hover around the low to mid-single digits.

So, could this be the last sunny hurrah in the city, before the onslaught of winter-weather?

It’s hard to say at this point, but for the next seven days, we advise soaking up all the sun you can.
