The purrfect cat convention returns to Vancouver this summer

The purrfect cat convention is returning to Vancouver this summer.

Meowfest has announced that they’ll be returning to their home city in 2020 for their third annual event. The one-day fest is hosted by meowbox, a Vancouver-based cat goodies subscription box.

In addition to mingling with fellow feline friends, Meowfest gives attendees access to all-day cat and kitten adoptions. Other activities include Meet & Greets with “celebricats” and animal advocates, free entertainment, and plenty of workshops.

Organizers say that this year’s event will also include free live entertainment, a marketplace with local and international vendors, cuddle rooms, and (new to the celebration) a cat-themed cocktail bar.

Best of all, 100% of proceeds from Meowfest are donated to local animal shelters and organizations.

The third annual Meowfest will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel. Ticket and pricing information is expected to be released within the coming weeks.
