Vancouver's 24/7 Christmas radio station returns to airwaves

Nov 15 2019, 5:00 pm

With just over a month to go until Christmas, holiday jingles are starting to make their way into shopping malls and grocery stores all across Vancouver.

Now, the festive tunes make their annual return to Vancouver’s 24/7 Christmas radio station.

As of Friday morning, at 9 am, 103.5 QMFM will switch to playing “all Christmas, all the time.”

The station has rebranded itself during the holiday season for the past nine years, with classics from Michael Buble, Mariah, Elvis, and Wham!, as well as new tunes from Alessia Cara, the Jonas Brothers, and Bryan Adams.

103.5 QMFM joins 104.3 The Breeze, a recently-launched radio station that converted to all-Christmas music earlier this week.

Christmas music will play 24 hours a day from Friday, November 15 to Thursday, December 26, 2019, before returning to regularly scheduled programming.

Maybe the holidays aren’t that far off, after all.
