Vancouver’s getting an awesome Filipino market next month.

Magkasama (together) A Modern Filipino Market, will be taking place on November 16 at The Pace (520 Alexander Street) from 1 to 9 pm.

Brought to you by Filipino food truck Shameless Buns and Layunin, this event will feature Filipino entrepreneurs and shine a spotlight on what their modern culture is all about.

Attendees can expect 25 vendors serving up food, drinks like Filipino-inspired cocktails and Filipino-inspired beer, musical, and dance performances, DJ sets, apparel, barber demos, art displays, tattoo consultations, and more.

Layunin will even be taking over one of Shameless Buns sandwiches, making a Sarsi Rootbeer Slider alongside a special Hella-HaloHalo made with layers of shaved ice, vanilla tapioca pudding, espresso leche flan, and more.
