FEATURED ON THE LISTED GUIDE
While you were snoozing in the early hours of Saturday morning, other Vancouverites climbed out of bed to complete a 21-km half-marathon around Downtown.
The Lululemon SeaWheeze Half Marathon came out in full force to greet a stunning—if at one point rainy—day last weekend, with runners completing the gruellingly beautiful course around downtown and Stanley Park.
Over 10,000 runners participated in race, which sold out in about 15 minutes months before the event.

If the running wasn’t enough punishment to the legs, there was also an opportunity to dance at the Sunset Festival at Stanley Park, where Young the Giant and Cold War Kids played for a packed crowd.
The night ended off with surprise fireworks in Coal Harbour, set off for what may have been a private event. Either way, attendees of the Sunset Festival were in a prime location to finish off the day with a spontaneous bang.
If you happened to miss out on the exercise but are still curious at how it all looked, we’ve thrown together a few pictures of the fun.
