If phallic pasta shapes aren’t what you want in your mouth, or you just want to eat all the Pride-themed foods in Vancouver, Lucky’s Doughnuts’ special rainbow doughnut might hit the sweet spot.
Created by Lucky’s Colter Jones, the doughnut, called Layers of Pride, is “a rainbow-layered vanilla-bean-glazed doughnut, topped with a candy ribbon that represents the rainbow of the Pride flag,” according to the doughnut shop’s reps.

What’s even more special about these limited edition treats is that the Layers of Pride doughnuts are being served up for a great cause: 100% of the proceeds from sales of the doughnut will go to A Loving Spoonful and put towards their meal programs for men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS in the Metro Vancouver area.
Yours for a suggested minimum donation of $5, the Layers of Pride doughnuts will be available only on July 31, during Vancouver’s Pride Parade. Find them at A Loving Spoonful’s gathering point at the Denman Street BMO Branch (958 Denman Street) from 11 am to 2 pm.
