The opening we’ve been waiting for finally happened a few weeks ago, and the offerings are better than we could have ever imagined.
- Burnaby finally has a cool cafe that offers insane brunch platters and bingsoo
- The first ever Cacao 70 Dippery is officially open in Gastown
- This new taco joint in Downtown Vancouver offers 4 authentic tacos for $10
- Vancouver's Dumpling King hosting Powell Street pop-up
You may wonder, how is that possible? We expected the downtown Vancouver location of 49th Parallel Coffee Roasters /Lucky’s Doughnuts in Coal Harbour to have its signature coffee and next-level doughnuts.
But what we didn’t expect – were these magical breakfast buns, or Eggburgers, as they are formally called.
This location boasts a uber-yolky dreamy Eggburger menu with two options: The Cascadia (egg over easy, cheese, maple bacon, honey mustard aioli) and The Doug (scrambled eggs, chives, cheese, caramelized onion, maple bacon, garlic aioli).
These are big and honestly you’ll start drooling as soon as you see one in real life.
The 1,600 sq. ft. Coal Harbour spot, located at 689 Thurlow Street, has way more than Cold Brew Crullers – although we could definitely live on those.
Patrons here can also expect brunch plates including Baked Eggs (dine-in only), a Keto Plate, and a Full Breakfast option with two eggs, bacon, bread, mushrooms and potato. This is all available from 7 am to 3 pm daily, along with a selection of baguettes up for order from 11 am to 2 pm.
This is the third location for this family of cafes and we couldn’t be more stoked about their epic breakfast and food spread – available at the Coal Harbour location only.
Be sure to check out the new prime location at the base of the FortisBC building in Vancouver’s Financial District, they are open early every day of the week.
Lucky’s Doughnuts/49th Parallel Coal Harbour is open Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 6 pm and weekends from 7 am to 5 pm.
