'Top Chef Canada: All-Stars' winner to open new restaurant at YVR Airport

The dining scene at YVR Airport is about to get a little bit more exciting, as Top Chef Canada: All-Stars winner Chef Nicole Gomes is opening a new dine-in and grab-and-go concept.
“We’re feeling Lucky to have @chefngomes become a part of our culinary journey at YVR!” shared the airport on Instagram.

Called Lucky Lily Asian Brasserie, YVR Airport wrote that this will be a restaurant “where Asian street food meets contemporary dining.”

Gomes has numerous accolades to her name. In addition to winning season one of Top Chef Canada: All-Stars, she has also been a finalist on Iron Chef Gauntlet and received the coveted “Flay Slayer” title on Beat Bobby Flay.
The chef also co-founded the popular Calgary fried chicken spot Cluck N Cleaver and Calgary Airport’s Wander Kitchen & Bar.
Located near Gate C46, an exact opening date for Lucky Lily Asian Brasserie has yet to be announced. However, YVR Airport did share that it will be in 2026.
