Considering its been on of the coldest winters Vancouver’s seen in decades, it’s pretty convenient that Crab Park Chowdery opened in January, just in time to fuel us through the cold months with delicious home cooked chowder and soups.
But now that the weather is warming up (finally), this Gastown eatery has made some additions to their menu that are perfect for summer. These items include a seasonal soups like Gazpacho and Borscht, and the mother of all sandwiches.
Behold, the Lobster Salad Sandwich.
- Crab Park Chowdery: Home made chowder, soup, and cheese-lined bread bowls in Gastown
- You can now get lobster rolls toasted in lobster butter from The Holy Crab
- Brewery & The Beast returns to Vancouver this July
- Samosa Flights, killer cocktails, and late night happy hour at new Vij's Rangoli
A perfect mix of fresh lobster, crab, and shrimp combined with fresh dill, celery, and lemon in a fluffy sourdough bun from Swiss Bakery, this roll makes for one seriously satisfying meal.
The Lobster Salad Sandwich is served with Hardbite sea salt and vinegar chips and customers can also opt to add Crab Park’s “Magic Sauce” (a housemade aioli) to really spice things up.
This morsel is $19.50, a dish well worth the price if you ask us.
