The Metro Vancouver restaurant industry can be fickle, and unfortunately, another spot has announced it will be closing its doors.

Little Miss Coffee Company, a coffee trailer that serviced Metro Vancouver, announced that it will be ceasing operations.

“After a lot of reflection, I’ve made the difficult decision to close the doors of Little Miss Coffee Company,” shared the coffee trailer.

Michelle Lougheed, owner of Little Miss Coffee Company, first started the mobile coffee trailer in 2022. It serves a variety of coffee, loose-leaf teas, and baked goods. In 2024, Little Miss Coffee Company briefly operated inside Capital City Arcade in New Westminster.

“This business has been more than just a livelihood — it has been a community, a dream, and a journey filled with so many ups and downs, and you guys have seen me through all of it. I am so deeply grateful to each of you who made it possible,” added Little Miss Coffee Company.

The trailer’s last day of operation will be Aug. 17.

Many took to the comments of the announcement post to share how much they will miss the coffee trailer.

“I’m sad. But also happy… Happy to have had so much good coffee. Happy to have made so many good friends (like as a direct result of you and your good coffee) and happy to know I’ll still have those good friends (including you). Though also slightly concerned about a decline in the quality of the coffee I will consume,” shared one person.

“Oh my God!!! This is heartbreaking news. I realize things are not easy and I will support your decision, but it’s hard to see you closing,” said another.

“You’ve made such a positive impact in the community. Wherever your next venture takes you, you’ll do great, and I’m sure will have plenty of support,” added a third.
